Rare Sterling Silver Native Indian Turquoise Squash Blossom Necklace

The gorgeous, early example of Native Indian tribal squash blossom necklace features twelve very well crafted sterling silver blossom, double strange well made 148 silver bench beads on hand twisted sterling rope, a traditional horseshoe naja jeweled by a robin’s egg blue turquoise stone with some copper splotches and aluminum spiderweb matrix.

The horseshoe naja measures about 3″ long and 2 1/2″ wide.  The necklace is 30″ long and weighs about 199.6 grams.  There is no marking regarding the maker or the content as sometimes seen in handcrafted items. The necklace was tested for its silver content.
