Limited Edition 150th Anniversary Jaeger LeCoultre Atmos Dome Clock
This unusual Atmos clock was made to commemorate the 150th anniversary of Jaeger LeCoultre in a limited edition of 3000 examples in 1983. This fine, retro style, exceptional clock wound by barometric pressure changes. The clock is supported on two bronzed brushed steel pillars where the pendulum hanging between. The case is made of brushed and polished gilt brass, also the circular base with two applied plaques engraved “No.299” and “150” within a laurel wreath. There are three adjustable feet for leveling, and spirit level on the base.
The white annular dial has black radial Roman numerals with outer minute track and black “Breguet” hands. The Swiss made Cal. 540 movement is 14 jewels, vacuum chamber winding the going barrel, lever escapement driven by annular tension pendulum, locking lever in the base, regulator at the top. Dial, case and movement signed. The clock is 30 cm high and 22 cm in diameter. Accompanied by a glass dome, the original suede fitted box, warranty booklet and instructions.
